Shipping Update #1

Hi Backers! I’ve been getting the first of the shipment out into the world this past week, and while I’ve been hard at work with that, I’ve only really scratched the surface! 

There are a lot of rewards to ship out! This campaign also had a lot of add-ons available which means there is quite a bit of variation with each package being sent out!

All of this is just to say: progress is unfortunately going to advance somewhat slowly. I appreciate everyone’s patience!

 That being said, there are plenty of rewards that have already begun to ship out!

 I’m starting with the largest shipment first to clear up some room in the studio as I begin working my way down the list.

This means that if you were a “Wholesale Tier” backer, your rewards have already shipped or I’m still waiting on you to finish filling out your survey!

Please be sure to fill out your survey!

This is how you claim the rewards that you’re entitled to for having backed this project, and while I appreciate you backing this project regardless, I really want to send you your cards too!If you have any concerns about your survey, send me a message so that I can help get things sorted out!

In the meantime, keep an eye on your inbox for a shipping confirmation from BackerKit which will include your tracking information!

With so many rewards going out, you may already have received this e-mail, may get it this coming week, or might not see it until later in February. I’ll continue sharing updates here on Kickstarter as shipping progresses so that everyone can stay in the loop and receive any necessary information.

For now, these are the really important things:

If you haven’t filled out your survey, try to get that taken care of ASAP in order to guarantee you receive your rewards!

Wholesale Backers should have already received shipping confirmations. If you are a Wholesale Backer and you haven’t received a shipping confirmation: first check your spam folder and see if it is hiding there. If not, send me a message so we can make sure everything is in order with your rewards!

Everyone else should keep an eye on their inbox this month as BackerKit begins sending out shipping confirmations!

Tiny Update Towards Shipping

Just in case you’ve been wondering where we’re at as far as shipping rewards goes, I wanted to take a little moment to touch base with everyone!

At the moment, I’m hammering out some details with BackerKit to make sure I can get notifications sent to Backers as their rewards ship- this way, anyone who wants tracking information can get it automatically. With my last campaign (which was also my first campaign ever) I had some issues with some people not getting their tracking information so I’m doing my best to avoid that hiccup from re-occurring.

That being said, I’m hoping to begin shipping things out later this week!

I expect to be be shipping rewards out in small manageable batches over the next several weeks. While I expect to have everything sent out by the end of February, there are a lot of things that need to be shipped, and only one of me. I also work out of a somewhat small apartment, meaning space is a little bit limited.

 Because my available work space is a little tight right now, I plan to start with the largest rewards first to begin clearing up some of that space. 

This means that Wholesale Tier backers will be the first to receive their rewards. 

If you’re a wholesale backer, keep an eye out for a shipping notification from BackerKit, and please let me know if you don’t receive yours by Monday so that I can troubleshoot!

As other order begin shipping out, I’ll continue to keep everyone update here! Please understand that it will take quite some time to get everything mailed out, but that I’ll do my best to work quickly!

We’re ahead of schedule!

That’s right! The decks have arrived from their long journey across the world a little bit before expected! 

This means we’re a bit ahead of schedule at the moment, as I hadn’t been expecting anything to arrive for another week or two!

However, there are a still a few things to do before I begin the big job of fulfilling shipments.

While most of those preparations are just my own organizational tasks that I need to get taken care of to fulfill rewards efficiently, one of these preparations will involve backers like you!

You’ll soon be getting an e-mail from BackerKit alerting you that your shipping address is about to be locked!

This is your chance to update your mailing information if at all necessary. For example, if you’ve moved since filling out your survey and need to enter new shipping information.

For most backers, there’s nothing that you’ll need to do other than make sure your mailing information is correct. After that, addresses will be locked in so that rewards can be shipped out near the end of this month!

If you haven’t filled out your survey yet, be sure to do that soon! 

Filling out your survey in order to provide shipping information and payment is the only way for backers to receive their rewards, and while I appreciate all of your support, I would also really like to send you the rewards you’ve been promised for that support!

So the TL:DR -

Be sure to complete your survey if you haven’t yet!

Keep an eye out for an alert from BackerKit that your address is about to be locked in- then check and make sure that all of your mailing information is correct so that your rewards can reach you safely and successfully!

Production is Wrapping Up!

I have some exciting news to announce as the new year takes off: The new decks are printed, and on their way to me! 

It will likely take a few weeks for them to make the long journey to my studio in the US, but once they’ve arrived, I’ll begin shipping them out to backers!

This means that we’re right on schedule- maybe even a little bit ahead of schedule!

I’ll continue to share updates regarding my progress as orders begin shipping out soon, but you should still expect for your rewards to ship to you in February!

You may begin to see decks appear online even a little bit before that- as I’ve chosen to have some of the “Wholesale” tier backers’ rewards sent to them directly from the printer in Hong Kong in order to save some shipping costs.

I’ll be shipping out everyone else’s rewards myself once they’ve reached me- so keep an eye out for new updates as progress continues, and be sure to complete your BackerKit survey soon if you haven’t already!

Production Is About to Begin!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to touch base with a short update to be sure you’re all in the loop.

The big news I have to share is that production is finally about to start! The orders for the new deck and all the add-on have finally been placed with the manufacturers who are helping to make this project a reality. After some back-and-forth to make sure that everything is looking just right, we’re about to get started on printing!

I should be receiving a proof copy of the new deck from my printer in a week or so. Once it looks good to go, it will take a few weeks for printing to complete. The current estimate is that everything wil be getting shipped out to me in early January, and will hopefully arrive within a couple of weeks of being shipped- this means before the end of January.

All of this to say: our goal of getting rewards mailed out to you by February is still looking really feasible!

Be sure that you fill out your survey if you haven’t already! 

By now you should have received an e-mail from BackerKit with your survey in it. This is super important because it’s the only way you can submit your shipping payment and information, meaning you can’t get your rewards if you haven’t completed the survey!

You should also get a notification from BackerKit once your order is about to lock (meaning you won’t be able to make changes to it) and once your shipping payment has been collected.

If you’ve already done all of that, all you need to do for now is sit back and wait!
